Kizashiトニック黄檗(キハダ)は、縄文時代より日本の生薬として伝わるミカン科キハダから生まれた、清々しい苦味のジャパニーズトニックです。キハダは現在でも大幸製薬【正露丸】をはじめ、大手メーカーの胃腸薬などの原料として幅広く利用されています。

希少原料の天然キハダを抽出、香料・色素無添加。

Kizashiトニック黄檗は、香料・無添加にこだわり、自然な味わいを目指した。原材料のキハダは、大木に成長するまでに20年ほどかかるとされる貴重なボタニカル材料です。伐採するのは梅雨の終わり頃、湿気で柔らかくなった樹皮を剥がしてから、名前の由来になった黄色い内皮を剥がします。

Kizashi “Kihada” Tonic Water aims for a natural flavor. As such, it includes no artificial scents, coloring or additives.  Our raw material, the citrus family of Amur cork tree, requires around 20 years to fully grow, and is thus a precious botanical material.  The tree are felled at the end of the rainy season, in early June to mid-July, when the bark is moistened and softened by humidity, and easily stripped.  Subsequently, the yellow inner bark from which the Kihada name derives, is separately striped.
